Vacation

Went home a week ago and had a blast. The best thing about any trip home? Things kiddos say.

Eliza: Do you want a baby in your tummy?
Rachel: Um... what?
E: Do you want to get married?
R: Yes.
E (very decisively) : Then we need to find you a good man.

(this one was reported to me later)
Michael: Rachel, she's nice and sometimes a lot of fun. Who do you think is more bossy, Rachel or Eliza?
Sarah: Who do you think?
M: Rachel. But mainly to Eliza.

And then there are the things we say.

S: I'm stronger than hormones!

When we are both tired and wanting to exert zero energy, S: We could lock them in the playroom while we watch tv. (After a moment of thought, and very seriously) No... they can unlock the door.

S: Is it expensive?
R: Free it is.
S: Haha!!
R: Um... I mean new.

Then while on the phone with Sarah today (not the only time. So far we are up to 14 calls back and forth, no missed calls. Longest at 28 minutes, shortest at 47 seconds. And I'm about to call her back. 15!) we were laughing uproariously at how funny we are because of the way we posted things back and forth on facebook. That lasted about 8 minutes until we were laughing so hard we couldn't think anymore.
