I have started to nanny again! This time Heavenly Father has placed me in a position to help out some great friends of mine who unfortunately got a divorce and need someone to watch their two little ones. J just turned 6 and is in kindergarten. Q is 2.5. They are sweet kids, though we are still having fun getting to know each other and boundaries.
The great thing has been this apartment building. They live in the same one I do, and it is full of families from my ward. Families with little kids the same age. Which means whenever we go play on the grassy area that is fenced off for the kiddos, there is usually somebody else there that I know, with kids the little ones know. Same with the park down the street. I love it!!!
On another note, last Saturday I got to watch my old neighbors kids while they went to a halloween dance. That meant Ruby and I were able to cuddle while the girls slept. It was one of the best spend Saturday evenings ever!!
