The only way I will exercise.

Not really a fan of exercise here. I LOVE walking 4 or more miles, if there is a dog about. And granted, I do enjoy bicycling, but the weather is just barely good for it. And the thing is, I would really love to be able to run. I haven't been able to for years, mostly because it hurt. But after finding a marvelous product that prevents pain from occurring this past fall, I get to try running!

Now why do I want to be a runner even though I despise it? Um, hello? I love big dogs and they deserve running partners since I can't guarantee that I will always live near off leash trails. Yes. I want to run to help my future dogs which I don't even have.

Point is, for now I don't have the dogs. Sure, I steal my neighbors dog when they leave her outside, but still not my own. But best to prepare! So I go to the gym and run/walk on the treadmill (what, you think a few months is enough to get me to run consistently? Two things, one, you don't realize just how out of shape I am, two you overestimate my diligence). Running at the gym is boring. SOO BORING!!! Which of course means I download shows onto my pretty little nano and watch them on the screen on the treadmill. It's genius. Except that today it didn't work. WHY?!?!?! I need to know what happens on White Collar!

It was terrible. Instead of 30 minutes of a show that I could finish next time I head to the gym, I watched a show that was currently on tv, commercials and all. It was a good show though, which was a bit of a problem. I couldn't just leave halfway through. I had to see it to the end. WHO KILLED THE SOCIAL WORKER?!?! Now I know.

Lesson learned tonight? Don't do heroin.

Ruby in the river while on the trail. It had been a beautiful day so her owners had her outside. Their car was gone though, so I knew nobody was home. So I took her for a 4 mile walk on the trail. Don't worry, I texted her owner. As a matter of fact, when owner came home and saw that Rubes was missing, she worried for a second, then thought "I should check my phone. I bet Rachel has her." Ah, they know me so well!!
